Arizona Immigration Law
http://news.yahoo.com/s/csm/20110128/ts_csm/359496_1
I learned about Arizona Immigration law last year...In Arizona, police can stop anyone who walks on the street or drives a car, and ask him or her to show the document that shows he or she is a legal resident in the USA when they are suspicous of anyone. When Arizona passed this bill, it was very controversial. The profiling could be racialism. That's why this article grabbed my attention when I read the title of this article at first time. I think this article is an editorial article.
Arizona lawmakers filed legislation which provoked controversy again like immigration law of last year. This bill is about giving citizenship. Any baby who was born in the USA was granted the citizenship even though their parents were illegal residents. That baby could have the benefit of the citizenship and so many aliens crossed the border before they gave a birth to a child. That was the problem because their parents didn't pay taxes at all. Thus, many American paytaxers were angry at that and filed the legislation last week.
The opponets of this legislation say that all persons born or naturalized in the US are citizen of the US, and they should be equally protected by the laws.
I suppport this legislation because the babies shouldn't get benefits without paying anythings. I mean that it's not fair to good tax payers. I think when Americans pay taxes, they expect rewards like good education. However, when their money goes to someone who didn't pay tax, they might be angry. It's harsh to babies, but they don't deserve that.

I AM AMY
Hi, everyone.
I'm Amy from Korea. I've been in Seattle for 9 months.
I came here to go to grad school at first,,,but I got lazier and so I don't know what to do next...lol
I was a teacher at an elementary school in Korea,,,I really miss my kids a lot. I didn't notice how much I liked my job and my students until I came here. Now,,,I feel that I could be a better teacher when I come back to school.
I love to go shopping. Anyone who needs shopping mate, talk to me. You'll be always welcome.
I don't like to talk anything in public and so this is not that easy to me. But if you talk to me face to face, I will enjoy it.
Come and See me!!!
Happy to see you,guys~
