Peer pressure

     Peer pressure means  influence by a peer group in encouraging a person to change his or her attitudes, behavior, or appearance. Young people such as children, teens are more influenced by their peer gruop. Teens want to get acceptance from their peer group. They want to be in a cool group, and so they want to look like their peer group. They sometimes change fashion style, interests, and behavior. Peer pressure has positive and negative aspects.
     Positive peer pressure might improve grades, confidence in their school life. It might give a chance to choose the best from what the masses do and lead to make the right choices in life. Also it might helps relationship and improve communication.
    Negative peer pressure might lower school attendance, drop grades, change group of friends. It might compel them on doing something they hate. They might be forced to lead a certain kind of lifestyle. Moreover, it might lead to a loss of individuality.
    There are some ways that helps teens with peer pressure. Try to create a space for open conversation, Watch a sign of change and be supportive.
